COVID-19 Induced Changes in Consumer Behavior

چکیده

Using literature survey and analysis, this study assessed consumption behavior changes induced by the COVID-19 pandemic possibility of retaining them after pandemic. Financial uncertainty loss welfare sources triggered saving behaviors. Some people binged on media products offering anxiety-mitigating therapeutic benefits. While such behaviors could decrease once virus is eliminated its stressors disappear, some routines continue. Certain values affecting nature frequency also change, thus increasing speed individual customers’ habit formation. To make accurate long-term strategic decisions without suffering losses, restaurant sector other businesses must adjust to new operational conditions analyzing changing revenues possible lasting effects consumer behavior.
